I was fortunate to time my annual visit to Borrowdale before all the heatwaves consumed us and whilst the light wasn’t exciting I enjoyed exploring new places and revisiting some locations that I have neglected. These were namely, Tilberthwaite and Great Langdale. The Borrowdale woods were lovely as I walked through after rain so all the colours were beautifully saturated.
