The Lake District

I fell in love with The Lake District almost 20 years ago when I came for a few days rest after running an international lacrosse tournament.  It wasn't the best time to call as foot and mouth restrictions were in place but I resolved to return and explore the forbidden delights as soon as possible.

I now visit twice a year and love getting away from the crowds in the hills and watching the way that light influences the view. My favourite places are Buttermere, Grasmere, Great Langdale and Borrowdale and these are the locations for most of my photographs.

In addition to the fabulous views and the light at the end of the day I enjoy looking for details in the water or the woodland that encapsulate the mood and splendour of the National Park.
